Site36 was first developed in 1936 as the Grand Rapids Stamping Division of Fisher Body. The two million square foot metal fabrication and assembly plant was home to 1,500 highly motivated and skilled workers when it ceased operations in 2009. The plant manufactured doors, hoods, fenders, and other automotive body parts throughout its successful history.
