West Michigan Dock and Market Corporation (The Mart Dock) was established in 1933 as a deep water port for domestic and foreign flagged vessels to deliver and export goods to West Michigan and beyond. The Verplank Docks include the Canonie Dock and the Greenfield Terminal. The Canonie Dock has 1,000 feet of steel piled dock frontage with 18 acres of lay down space. The Greenfield Terminal has 50+ acres of undeveloped waterfront property available for water dependent manufacturing opportunity.
